Loyal E. Horton Dining Award

Dining Services belongs to NACUFS, the National Association of College and University Food Services. NACUFS holds the Loyal E. Horton Dining Awards contest each year. This is open to all institutional members of NACUFS. This is a highly competitive and prestigious peer recognition program and is designed to recognize outstanding menu planning presentation, and to provide an avenue to sharing ideas and creative presentations in collegiate dining services. In 2002, Hiram College received 2nd place in the Special Event Category. We chose our holiday meal (See the Pictures) for our entry and are very proud of this prestigious award.
