By now, we hope you have applied for some jobs, or, at least, you’re ready to anticipate what you would do. Chapter Ten has a good description of the salary negotiation process. Don’t be misled. It is uncommon for new college graduates to negotiate a salary. Rather, most entry level positions have a fixed salary attached to them, with perhaps room for a small bonus for extra experience or potential.
