Born and raised in Louisville, Ohio,
Shari Pachinger received her Master of Music degree in Vocal
Performance from the Cleveland Institute of Music in 1993. She was
awarded Most Outstanding Music Major of Ashland College in 1986
where she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in 1987. Shari
debuted with the Cleveland Orchestra 2000 Blossom Festival as a
soloist in Augusta Reed Thomas’ “Song In Sorrow”. In competition,
she was a finalist in the Classical Productions Vocal Competition in
March of 2001, placed in previous National Association of Teachers
of Singing competitions and won vocal scholarships from Canton Civic
Opera, Ashland College, The Cleveland Institute of Music and
Cleveland Music School Settlement. She has performed as soloist with
the Cleveland Orchestra, Cleveland Opera Company, Cleveland Choral
Arts Society, Robert Page-Cleveland Singers, Trinity Chamber
Orchestra, and Ganassi Early Music Ensemble. Shari teaches voice
performance related courses at Lakeland Community and Hiram
Colleges, is principal soprano soloist for Trinity Cathedral,
Cleveland, and for The Temple Tifereth Israel, Beachwood, and vocal
judge for The Ohio Federation of Music Clubs, Stark County Chapter.
Shari currently resides in Painesville Twp with her daughter,
Elizabeth, and husband, Donald.
