Scholarships
The Department of Music offers the Music Ensemble Award which provides $1,000 per year toward tuition. It is awarded through an audition process and is renewable for four years. Music Ensemble Scholarships are awarded each year to entering freshmen.
In addition to being in good academic standing and making satisfactory progress toward their degree, all scholarship recipients are required to:
  1. Study with a Hiram College music faculty member.
  2. Participate responsibly each semester in one of the ensembles.
  3. Perform on at least one student recital during the year.
  4. Attend a minimum of five concerts/recitals during each semester.
  5. Perform a jury examination at the end of the academic year.

This scholarship is available to non-music majors as well as music majors.
