A Welcome Message from the Director

Hiram's Dining Services staff extends a warm welcome to the Class of 2009 and a hearty welcome back to students returning for the 2005-2006 academic year.

Following is an introduction to the various dining options available to Hiram students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Also included is information about auxiliary services such as the college bookstore, laundry services, guest lodging, and more.

The staff of Hiram's Dining Services recognizes the importance of student input in shaping menu options. Therefore, we strongly encourage student feedback. Comment cards and drop boxes are available at the dining halls for your recommendations. Additionally, Dining Services, in conjuction with Student Senate, formed a Food Service Advisory Committee. This Committee holds monthly meetings through which students and Dining Services Management come together to discuss all aspects of the students dining experience. Meeting times will be made available throughout the academic year and we hope to see many people involved.

Additionally, Hiram makes every effort possible to cater to the needs of students with special dietary requirements. If you have a unique, physician-recommended diet, please contact the Dining Services Office to arrange a meal plan at (330) 569-5187.
